The ups-and-downs in the economy, easy credit, brought some nasty’s and additional headaches with it, and Tenants, Account Holders start to slip on payments when buying goods on Credit.

We specifically developed this platform with the focus to assist all Estate Agents, Landlords, and Credit Suppliers to enable them to collect outstanding payments in a very convenient and cost effective manner.

When a Landlord or Estate Agent needs to collect outstanding debt, the process that they must follow is not only time-consuming, but the cost involved is very high, i.e.
Until now only credit bureaus, debt collectors, property owners and attorneys could send Letters of Demand,
To get a letter of demand, you must make an appointment with an attorney,
Attorneys are normally fully booked, in Court, and you will also have to fight for parking, the car guards, and take about half of your office to the appointment, to get yourself a letter,
Understandably, the attorney will not come cheap, as with you, time is money.
Creditors, have all sorts of structures and people in place, and they will rather go the “bad debt” route with their debtors before collecting payments.

We at Lawyer-online took all of the above into consideration when we developed this platform for Namibia. With the lawyer-online, your Domicilium citandi et executandi (your address) might be in the middle of no-where, but if you have wonderful Internet connectivity, a cell phone or computer. All you need is to log into our platform, register, pay a VERY reasonable fee, capture the information of your debtor, give instructions to the lawyer with a press of a button.

We even considered that some debtors might not react on the Letter of Demand, our system will diaries the “date when we send the letter”, notify the administrator with a “pop-up notification”, to start the summons process.

Not only did we consider convenience for our clients, but also made provision for the debtor to perform the payments and administration online. As with the clients, the debtors will have the facility to download an “Acknowledgment of Debt”, sign it, upload it again, and perform payment either via debit or credit cards, or an EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer).
